The 2009 B106.7FM Children’s Hospital Radiothon was held March 7-10 in the lobby of the new Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital. The Radiothon phone bank was sponsored by Delta Dental. The amazing stories from children who have been treated at Palmetto Health Children's Hospital and others who have been touched by Children's Hospital inspired B106.7FM listeners to donate more than $173,576. In eight years, the B106.7FM Children's Hospital Radiothon, a Children's Miracle Network event has raised more than one million dollars for Palmetto Health Children's Hospital.

Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union is a partner of Change Bandits, a program that encourages people to collect loose coins from co-workers, classmates, family and friends for the month leading up to Radiothon. Change Bandits represent companies, departments, schools, etc., to benefit Children’s Hospital. Change Bandits is sponsored by Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union. Palmetto Health Foundation also offered participation as a virtual change bandit in 2009. 
For a third year, Palmetto Health Foundation partnered with WIS News 10 to feature miracle stories and to hold a live phone bank from WIS studios on Tuesday, March 10.
