University of South Carolina Dance Marathon (USCDM) 2010

 From February 20-21, 1,000 dancers participated in the eleventh annual USC Dance Marathon and raised $111,417.72 for Palmetto Health Children's Hospital, your local Children's Miracle Network hospital. Thanks to all from the community who visited the Strom Thurmond Fitness and Wellness Center to cheer on these Gamecocks as they celebrated their fundraising efforts. The students stayed on their feet for 24 hours paying tribute to the children who battle sickness and injuries and the staff that provides care for these children. During the 24 hours, the students learned a line dance, were entertained by local musicians and comedians, played games coordinated with "theme hours" and listened to stories from Palmetto Health Children's Hospital's miracle kids.

Thank you sponsors, donors, dancers and others for making a difference in the lives of more than 82,000 children treated annually at Children's Hospital.
